Wind Chill – 2007

One of the worst horrors I have seen in a while, no credible story line which was disjointed and hadn’t a clue where it was going. A poor attempt from producer Clooney, what was he thinking!
Plot, well if I must go into it. Two college students share a ride home for the holidays. When they break down on a deserted stretch of road, they’re preyed upon by the ghosts of people who have died there.
This was only Gregory Jacobs second film, and to be honest I can see why. The acting was wooden and having to watch two people snuggled up in a car together is not what I would call my idea of a horror film.
With the occasional passing of a ghost, and having to scale a telegraph pole to get a signal the film offered little else.
When we did see some suspense it was, well….it wasn’t suspenseful at all. This was a surprising choice of film from Emily Blunt who in herself is a very good actress, here though she wasn’t.
I’ve certainly seen a lot better, so if you’re wanting thrills and chills you’re better off sticking your head inside the freezer door!
