confused itself
Unknown centres around 5 men who wake up in a locked down chemical warehouse with no recollection of who they are or how they got there. With the clock ticking the men must find a way out or remember who each of them are before its too late.
Unfortunately the description of the film is slightly more intriguing than how it was actually played out. In short it was pretty disappointing and overall what I would consider to be a flop. The story itself wound up getting lost as it tried in vain to lay out twists and turns to keep the audience guessing. It lacked tension or suspense and in the end fell way short of what could have become a solid thriller.
Unknown’sacting was bland and in some parts uninteresting, but you still held out for what you would hope is a climatic ending, it never happens. Instead the writers leave us with an ending that is so complex and ridiculous that we wonder why we even bothered to sit through the 90 minute run time. It’s a shame as in the right hands this could have been a winner.
