Transformers 3 to Iron Out Flaws

When the first Transformers movie came out we were all excited, and when we saw it we were amazed just how good it was. Then director Michael Bay brought out the sequel, and we all thought “wow, this can only get better” then we saw it.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen was, for want of a better word, poor! OK, the actions sequences were spectacular but at the end of the day you can’t hide a weak script forever. At some point the viewer will want to believe that the script and storyline works.

Shia LaBeouf, star of the the last two Transformers movies is currently down in Cannes promoting his new flick Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. La Beouf speaking to Total Film Online said of Revenge.

“When I saw the second movie, I wasn’t impressed with what we did…There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone…we got lost. We tried to get bigger…Mike went so big that it became too big, and I think you lost the anchor of the movie.

“You lost a bit of the relationships. Unless you have those relationships, then the movie doesn’t matter. Then it’s just a bunch of robots fighting each other.”

Transformers 3 though is set to change all that, and LeBouf explained that there will be human casualities, as this time they’re (Transformers) targeting humans. He also said if that wasn’t enough to whet the appetite of fans Bay was going to make the craziest action film ever.

We here at dvdblurayreviews do not doubt that for a second, Bay is the master of action and his sequences are as explosive as they are choreographed. However, all this does mustn’t detract from the fact that the script will be looked at a lot more closely and will give the fans a credible storyline that the franchise so badly needs.
