The Grey – 2012

I’ve become a bit of a Liam Neeson fan of late, stemmed mainly from Taken which is undoubtedly one of his best films the gruff talking actor has won a place in my list of favourite actors.

His new film The Grey which is due out next year is about an oil drilling team who struggle to survive after a plane crash strands them in the wild.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, hunting them are a pack of wolves who see them as intruders, so its a man vs nature, vs the elements, vs the beasts!

Here it would seem that Neeson has acquired another set of special skills, including how to light a fire, scale a rock face and tell camp fire stories!

Directed by Joe Carnahan who most recently helmed The A-Team he looks to infuse survial with some great action sequences and edge of your seat tension.

There is the possibility that it will have a little cheese element to it, look at the end of the trailer for example.

Nesson teeth gritted with glass shards taped to his knuckles sprints towards a lone wolf, I just hope that is not going to be the end?

The film will open in selected UK theatres next January!
