Chris Nolan is going to have his work cut out if he wants to keep a lid on The Dark Knight Rises plot, as since the film was announced everybody and anyone are trying to guess just what it might be.

However reports this morning suggest that an online source has gotten their hands on a very basic summary of the plot.

So what exactly is it then? Well according to Batman-On-Film, the third instalment in the trilogy will feature The Dark Knight coming up against the League of Shadows, the vigilante organisation spearheaded by Talia al Ghul, along with Bane (Tom Hardy) as the love interest protector.

Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman will join forces with Batman for a closing out battle with the deadly organisation.

Also Joseph Gordon-Levitt will play a member of the League, that looks a lot more credible than all the other parts he has been associated with over the last few months.

We’ll take this as a massive rumour for now, at least until we hear it from the horses mouth but it does make for a very plausible story.
