Top notch thriller

The Insider is a gripping film that packs a punch, Pacino is once again at his best but cannot compete against Crowe who is simply outstanding as a whistle blower who sacrifices everything he loves and owns all in the quest for the truth.

The Insider is based around the facts that occurred during the real events of 1996, the film compares the journalistic integrity with the want to show and report the truth against the moral dilemma it comes with in protecting an innocent man.

Michael Mann achieves another show stopper here and this is one that should definitely be seen in anyone’s top 100 films.
