Rec – 2007

While most of Hollywood continue to churn out below par remakes of horror films. Halloween, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Friday the 13th and potentially A Nightmare on Elm Street to come it’s great to see low budget foreign films shining through.

This one is not for the feint of heart and is a non stop scare ride for 75 minutes, to be fair that was all my heart and nerves could take. As always Hollywood remade this and it was poor!, and not a patch on the original.

All filmed on a handy cam which gives much more suspense and terror, the night vision ending caps it off brilliantly.
