Let Me In Teaser Trailer

I recently reviewed the brilliant Let The Right One In, a Swedish film about a young boy called Oskar who meets a girl by the name of Eli, who turns out to be a vampire.

Well it didn’t take too long for a US remake to soon be hitting our screens, I initially criticized it saying that it wouldn’t do the original justice but looking at the trailer below it might just pull it off.

Directed by Matt Reeves who also directed Cloverfield, the film’s transition looks like it could be a credible one with almost a shot for shot likeness to the original.

I don’t really understand the need for glamorous remakes, other than to make money and to saturate Hollywood for a need to bypass subtitles, those that cannot be bothered.

Still I will view this with an open mind, and will review it in a future post!
