Coffin Rock – 2009

Coffin Rock is a highly disturbing thriller which takes a little bit of time to get into, but once it does you’re gripped right through to the end.

Set in Australia a woman desperate to have a baby has a drunken one night stand with a young unstable stranger. Realizing that she is pregnant she must avoid the truth coming out for fear of destroying her perfect life with her devoted husband.

It’s great to see B movies like Coffin Rock this surface, and you can uncover a real gem from time to time such as this. The acting is very good and you really get a sense of the characters pain and anguish, it won’t be to everyone’s taste but if you’re a fan of the thriller genre then this one will be right up you’re street.

Tense and assured, this film sets a tone commonly found in B movie thrillers.
