Latest reports suggest that there might well be a Bourne 4, if 20th Century Fox get their way. Tony Gilroy famous for penning such films as Michael Clayton, Duplicity and writing the screen plays for all of the original Bourne films is set to add another one to his bow.
Despite both Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass hesitant to return to the Bourne-verse after their near-flawless run (and the critically adored Ultimatum in 2007).
Reportedly Gilroy will stray from the novels this time around (even though the title Legacy follows Ultimatum in the book series), creating his own adventure with a rumoured South America location.
However one major sticking point could be Matt Damon, with the actor reportedly saying that he would not come back for a fourth unless Paul Greengrass was helming the project once again.
It would be a shame as Damon portrayed Bourne perfectly throughout the trilogy and to change him now would potentially distance a new film from the originals.
What do you think, should Damon and Greengrass come back for a fourth. Leave a comment and let me know.
