Batman 3 Date Announced

It’s what we have all been waiting to hear, after the mind blowing Dark Knight many fans of the gothic hero will be desperate to know if Bale and Nolan are going to team up once again?

Well they are, but I’m afraid we’re going to have to wait a little bit as the film will be due for release in the US July 2012, so hopefully us Brits will not have to wait too long after that to see it.

The story I am sure will be kept firmly under wraps and although the Joker is not dead (well not fictionally at least) it is a wonder if he is going to return. One villain that will surely make an appearance will be Edward Nigma aka The Riddler, and sources suggest that this could potentially be played by Doug Jones.

Who? Doug Jones, who spends a lot of his time encased in makeup (Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth) might get to don the elaborate green suit, but never believe a rumour.

One thing is for sure Nolan is going to have his work cut out if he wants to make it a hat-rick of winning films!
