Alien: Resurrection – 1997

Forget it!
Alien Resurrection was an absolute disaster, and I really wonder how they even managed to convince Sigourney Weaver to come back for a fourth installment. The story should have been left dead and buried with Ripley escaping the company and killing the Alien growing inside her by plunging into the fires of the iron works.
But no, 200 years after they resurrect her and use her DNA to clone her. However they somehow manage to mix up some of the Alien DNA as well and as such all hell breaks loose when the Aliens escape and Ripley begins to take on the Alien characteristics.
This film was ever only going to be used to give the franchise a re-boost and make some money. No thought was really ever given to the script or the plot, while there are some good special effects and action sequences there is no hiding from the fact that this is a poor film and as such should be eradicated from memory.
